Shto clutchitca c SU 47?

Ok i give up...it is hard to type Russian text with an English key board...so this goes to whoever knows english around here.

I am wondering whether the SU 47 will enter service, be a test bed for future technologies, or is canceled for now (and is viewed just as a technology demonstrator)? I have a model of it (built by me); it is a cool plane, and it will be wrong for it to not be invloved in the future (either as in service or as a test bed...etc).

I mean it will be a shame that such a wonderfull and manoevrable fighter be cancelled. Pleez someone answer!!!

Дык С-47 и есть "test bed", в этом качестве и работал. А что сейчас происходит - незнамо... Но боевая машина из него не получится, однозначно.

Ага, чего уже устаревшее строить. Четвертое поколение будут заменять, судя по всему, шестым. В этом смысле наша авиапромышленность далеко впереди американской, все еще строящей пятое поколение.

afaik - it has now name(surprise!) Su-37 officially - not shure about plans of this bird's usage really... who knows what designs are on scetches and blueprintes now, BTW ;))

Yep it is now called SU-47 (Berkut) - golden eagle!!!
