Between the two world wars, Czechoslovakia maintained an advanced defence industry with a production capability extending to light and medium tanks. In 1935-36, Skoda's LT-35 entered service in small numbers and by 1937 it was the main tank of the Czechslovak Army.

In the first years of service, the LT-35 gained a reputation as an unreliable vehicle and was considered to be a temporary solution before the LT-38 / PzKpfw 38(t) was fully developed and ready for production. The LT-35's reputation of being unreliable was due to its untested advanced technical design, but in 1938, its problems were solved and overall LT-35 proved to be an excellent tank.

During the second world war, the LT-35 saw service with Slovak, German, Romanian, Hungarian, Italian, and Bulgarian armies. It became especially a valuable asset to the Panzerwaffe after the German take-over of Czechoslovakia in March 1939. German designated PzKpfw 35(t) formed the bulk of the 1st Leichte (Light) Division during the Polish Campaign and then of 6th Panzer Division (former 1st Leichte Division) during the French Campaign and the Invasion of Russia. In late 1941, most LT-35 were relocated to second line duties such as policing and antipartisan units. Few LT-35s in service with the Slovak Army participated in the Slovak National Uprising in August of 1944.

Overall , 424 tanks were produced between 1935 and 1939 by Skoda and CKD factories.

OK pal, here I am. Be precise however: the Russian you need is to speak or just to translate the text?
