Поступил в продажу коммерческий релиз тренажера морской пехоты США, на основе легендарное серии Close Combat.
Главные отличия от основной серии СС:
Большие карты
Мультиплеер 5 на 5
Возможность садить и высаживать из машин пехоту.

Официально думаю никогда. Уж больно не популярен жанр варгеймов у нас, тем более c такой графикой. Народе требует хлеба, зрелищ и шейдеров...

Ну в серии от Матрикс Геймс постоянно выходит много чего - и у нас есть поклонники варгеймов и пошаговых, и клос комбатских. Другое дело что многие вещи действительно выгоднее покупать через инет, да и наши лоХализаторы вечно стремятся делать все побыстрее, а не лучше.

С кем можно сыграть в СС.
Надо по искать в дисках, но в принципе есть почти все, включая сс3, сс5, даже последний сс - железный крест. думаю и сс4 найду.

И еще - получил 7.12.07 такое письмо (см.ниже), из которого следует что игра вышла и ее можно купить. Проблема в другом - а с кем играть в мультиплеер...

Hot off the press, we have just released CC: Modern Tactics, this is based off the USMC version of CCM and the RAF Regiment version of CC:RAF. With all the enhancements made for use by the military this is a very different CC than those that have come before. As usual there is much possible with the engine and much that can be added (yes including WW2 lol) by the modding community.
