CFS2 MiG 21

Is there any updated news on the CFS2 MiG-21UM package? Also the Mari AFB?

The CFS2 version will be released as promised. But there's a lot of problems because the CFS2 is the older sim and it hardly supports even a half of FS2002 features we used in the MiG-21 FS2002 version (which is brand new Gmax model). All animation is gone, all effects are gone etc. So we have to rebuild a lot of things.

Why don't you just hold out until the CFS3 release. Many of us can wait...would resolve a lot of changes for an older flight sim software (CFS2)....most of us will move on, and CFS2 will be forgotten.

I have the patience, same for many too..

I agree, it would be better to hold off to CFS3. Although people might be a bit "itchy" to destroy something in the mean time. :)

But surely many people bought it on the basis that it would be supported on CSF2. Although CSF3 is expected in the Autumn, it could take until early 2003, and isn't as if Mig21 would need to be changed again for CFS3 is it?

Yes we can wait with the MiG until CFS3 release, but some people can't 'cause they are ready to fight :)
