L-39 Albatros

I love the MiG-21 it looks great in FS2002 - how is the quality the of the L-39? Is it nearly as good as the MiG? Worth to buy too (a must have)?

Hi,
It's excellent! I relly enjoy it because you have to work a little to fly it correctly. It doesn't have the excess thrust the Mig has and therefore you'll learn to fly it by "the numbers", just like the real pilots do.
I'd certainly recommend it, it'll keep your flying (airmanship) skills sharp!

Hi,

it's an excellent aircraft - as Boeing said, there's not too much excess thrust so you really have to rely on pilot skills instead of your engine. It doesn't have a 3D cockpit however.... and I really wouldn't mind if Captain Sim decided to divert some resources to building a 3D-pit for it :)
