Made some what scalable based upon skill level. While the skill level is a bit higher than default SABOW, it certainly is not set to extreme. If you find it to easy set the ai level higher via menu in game. As with all my missions setting historical units to OFF allows a few more reinforcements for your platoons.

Remember your mission! 1. keep convoy from being destroyed. 2. Fight your way to convoy and protect fuel/recovery platoon. 3. Get out of dodge and return to defensive lines (supply depot area) before enemy over runs stricken supply convoy area. If you are up to major challenge just sit there =). Use the assets given to you. Flares from arty are extremely useful when vary dark. Oh and scan, scan, and scan somemore. Pretty much every btr-60 has mechanics in them. Try to keep them alive to repair your armor and equipment. They are not tagged as such. Honestly did not think of it when making mini mod V1.5.

This mission is an attempt at a somewhat more linear structure than defualt SABOW. Suprisingly dificult to get ai to do what you want. Hopefully the ai does not do something totally crazy to you........like ignore the striken supply convoy and go hell bent on your supply depot area while its not too defended or just sit around convoy and dig in. Vary hard to dig them out of there holes to get fuel thru to stricken convoy.

Постарайтесь сохранить их живыми для ремонта брони и оборудования. Они не помечены как таковые. Честно говоря, не думаю об этом, делая мини-мода V1.5.

Эта миссия является попыткой несколько более линейную структуру, чем defualt SABOW. Удивительно dificult получить ай делать то, что вы хотите. Надеюсь, ай не делает нечто совершенно сумасшедший вам нравится ........ игнорировать striken конвой поставки и идти одержима от региона поставки депо, а его не слишком защитили или просто сидеть конвой и окапываться Вары жесткий вырыть их оттуда отверстия, чтобы получить топливо через пострадавших в колонне.

hmmmmmmmmm...... Hard to know why without Russian copy. Ill look into it. Does safari V1.6 and crescent 1.3 crash too? Obvious questions......running march beta 2 and Flashburn mini mod V1.5? Last thing off the top of my head.

A_A_A tell me what you think of mission when you finish. If you pick not so good land to put your squads on it can be really hard. Good squad locations, I think it is kind of easy. Personally, I still think Crescent Moon is still the better missions of mine. But I think Dystopia is better than Safari was.

I should have said something about repair platoon. When I made mini mod I did not think to make a repair platoon. Each supply platoon has one btr60 set up as repair guys. But no text that says it is.

And i agree about the player tank. That was me over thinking things. I have no idea if Unita/south Africia ever captured t62's. But in the end it is not a historical mission so does it really matter? :D As with safari one extra player t62 with historical units off.

When I release next major flashburn mod, mission will be totally redone. Also will have ai m2hb 12.7 mm mg (got it in game today), hopefully a playable m113a1 (exterior of model is about 80% done) and an F5e for Iran side. Well thats the plan anyhow.

Next totally new mission will be more playable units. I will be busy for awhile :D

A I have no idea if Unita/south Africia ever captured t62's. But in the end it is not a historical mission so does it really matter? :D As with safari one extra player t62 with historical units off.

I think two captured T-62 in SANDF/UNITA is not too fantastic... :)

Does SABOW support dogfights? Never noticed anything other than mig23 and impala just ignoring each other. The F5E only fits in with Iran in default SABOW and Iraq currently has the Mi25 hind. Maybe I should have done a AH1J instead? But the F5 is just so neat.

Well it appears that AA missles are present in config but never get used? Well Iran F5E was used for everything in Iran/Iraq war.

If anyone would like to help me out and test new version of mini mod V1.9 and mission Mardga 2.0 expert please let me know. It is still English only as it is still being tested and a few new things still need to be added.

Mardga 2.0 expert is a totally new mission (it does use modified pools file from Graviteams). Based on original but complete new and plays out totally different.

A little update on future mini mod V1.9 (in open beta now...English only right now) missions mardga 2.0 expert (completly new campaign but somewhat based on Mardga) and semi historical campaign The Road (about Iraq's 3rd AD's cutting off of routes around Khramshahr and the stopping of Iraq's offensive by Iran).

Mini mod V1.9 has a few new things. G3a3 rifle, energa rifle grenade, m1 style helmet, Rgd2 smoke grenade, rifle fired smoke grenade. These are mainly done. Just mild tweeking of textures left. M2hb .50cal is working, but not how I want it to.

Yes.......mainly. Blue prints I used to construct model where off a bit on turret.........but vary well done on hull. Its a test model, but will probably turn into an ai controled vehicle and a TARGET. :D

I planned this project so badly I should beat myself in the face with a trout. :P Should have some alpha ai only alpha version up and running with in a week.

AUCK! I forgot to unhide the wheel for the screenie. ;D The purple bits are where the padding is bleeding thru or have not gotten to yet. I like real working screenies, not just prefect stuff obviously. :-X

Have not added the m1919a4 in there just yet but will in a bit. This is will be the final/what I am going with version of the saladin armored car. Lots of little fixes to do and the wheels need to get majorly reworked. :D

Added in the last of the missing detail parts. Calling the modeling part done. If I can figure out how the heck to get a playable interior to work I'll go back and add a few thousand more detail triangles. Just textures and rigging/config work left.

Attempting to get the sally back into sabow now. All my wonderful textures faired poorly in the conversion process so have to figure that one out. That and my mesh has changed SO much from the test run I did that somewhere I introduced a crash bug in sabow with this thing. Have to go through all my damned config files. BIG beef here is lack of useful error messages when attempting to bring in stuff into sabow. Vary painful process.

Damned thing looks like a clown car next to an M60, but its back in game :D. Now to finish the bugger up over the next week.

Updates and fixes to the mesh. Pathfinding and turning issues still remain. But lights work, detachable blown off bits work, commanders MG works, smoke grenades work. Still crashes out sabow with more than 2. I hope that goes away on its own once model is fully rigged up. :D

Not a vary good one.....but only screen of this test I took. :mdaa:

Also want to point out that I went pretty basic on the battle damage. Was not sure what I could get away with. But is vary much noted. Time permitting, will plan a better if/when I get back to my older m113a1 model (I want a mortar carrier!). Also want to do a BTR 152 but who knows if I'll get that far.

Armor map test. Resists 14.5 mm on frontal arc well. Well so did the real deal as well.

I have played with every combo of normal and spec maps I could think of looking for the best combo of maps. I think I found it. Just clean up and a few more details. This green one is probably the most BORING of the textures I have made, which is why I used it as a base. I think it look pretty good now? Well watcha think?

Almost for AI version. Has issues turning. It does do it, but looks vary odd. Also have not made destroyed model yet. That will not take long. Playable is still ??? . But will get there soon I hope. BUt all LOD's are done, its 99 percent rigged up in game (no markings yet), I have 2 of 4 ammo types ready (hesh and he), armor map works vary well, smoke grenades work, commanders MG works (not used vary often). Just fixing normal map now too I hope final version as well as added in some missing things from green camo version (will have 4 camo patterns by release). But I made this to be playable not just an ai armored car so that is the LAST thing to figure out. Also want to make SURE it works with newest sabow patch before I release it. :D

Updated textures.......calling this pretty much none (for green camo and normal map). The plan is give this thing (plain green) Unita as they are the closest thing that "could" have used them. Saladins have seen action many times in wars in Africa BTW.

After some kind of m113 with heavy weapons (have not found images of iran/iraq war but I know they mounted recoiless rifles and things on some of them) a mortar carrier I would VARY much like to do. But basic one first...........and hopefully playable. Vietnam ACAV style is on that to do list as well. SO is ANZAC fire support apc with saladin turret (NO brainer there). But thats alot of stuff so we will see.

Well m113 is maybe 50 percent done. Modelling is far enough along to bring into sabow and figure out WTF I am doing wrong with playable vehicles. Also unwrapped and ready to texture whats done so far. :D Going to get this figured out if it kills me.

Better screenie of what I have so far. No luck what so ever on getting this playable. This may not make it into my itty bitty mod right away as it would be pointless as there allready is an m113 ai in game.

Got a bunch of the insides modeled for the m106. Just a bit more stuff for driver and gunners area. Well what you can see from the outsides anyways. Still have not finished the freaken m30 mortar yet.....keep getting side tracked.

Главное что фичи почти теже, терраморфинг и тотальная разрушаемость можно скосить все, танкисты трактористы в кокпите :D

the dust/mud on the side of the vehicle looks somewhat strange to me. maybe have it more speckled like the bottom right corner in the last shot.

Depends on angle of light for the most part........its backed by a normal map. And its still WIP. But alot of folks seem to be having issues with it. To me it looks like it was on a road march for a few hours after leaving a motor pool all nice and clean. Also middle east sand is like a vary fine powder.......its annoying and gets everywhere.

More testing, texture tweeking, etc ete. Always seems to end up with me taking screen shots.

Getting REALLY close to finishing up all the ai useable stuff. Cant wait till I figure out the playable junk on these.

Hello, I just tried your ISABOW mod. part1, and have little feedback: 1) V113 and M113V40 have problem with tracks 2) can't find your M106 mortar 3) simple M113 have only 2 crew members.

By the way it will be nice if you'll add yours models to game encyclopedia.

Built quick battle stupid. Under airborne forces is m106. Not thought out, that one.

I look into fixing track for next version. Basic m113 is just driver and commander/gunner. If used in other rolls more crew. M113 is scout role could use 4 or 5 depending on unit and how unit configured. Dismounted scouts in back would scan from roof hatch. Refer to US and ARVN Army's ACAV m113. :D

Yes on encyclopedia! Waiting until I finish textures to less wasteful format.

Установил мод и доп. компании. Игра стала вылетать через несколько секунд после запуска тактического режима. При этом попадаю явно не на место командира танка... Патч крайний. Моды стоят выше обновления. Профиль менял. Может что-то еще для их работоспособности ставить надо?
