Dear english-speaking friends!
We in Moscow orgcommittee (Virtual Flight Training Centre team) are pleased to invite you to meet with russian flightsimmers at upcoming Flanker's Championship, 10 - 11 November this Fall. This action prepared in tradition of annual meetings, thanks to St.-Peterburg's people, who have established this behaviour of simrussians :) and have recent Spring champ carried out at very high level!
We'll proudly introduce you VFTC's 'flightbase airfield' Cafemax (please visit http://www.cafemax.ru a great wonderful and very comfortable area with many 'paved runways' and nice people in staff.
In addition we will provide Web-cam live videos from many points at ongoing championship place via Cafemax's website to share our expressions around the rest of the simmers' world. So if one can't be among us over here it will be possible to look at amazing action in realtime on your own display...
Up today we have finished negotiations with real russian military pilots, aerobatic groups "Russian Knights" (www.knights.ru), "The Swifts" and individuals who have invited as guest stars to the Championship.
There will be a few TV channels groups of journalists, videotapes will be recorded via theyr camcorders and at server's side right in action place.
Few words about VFTC (ЦПВЛ) abbreviations.
Although this is one of many russian flightsimmers' teams, it embraces highly ambitious (chosen :) ) hardcore simmers. We in VFTC flight command have build our own way to create flightsim school on the base of educational documents and real life flight rules. Our common law is to thorough train before flight and fight. Our current base sim is the Flanker 2.5, but we hopefully look at further coming 'Lock On: Modern Air Combat' (today in developing by domestic 'Eagle Dynamics' programmers). We prepare though virtual, but highly professional pilots on the ground of hard teamwork, self-perfection with ongoing training on exercises that stands very close to reality. We have and develop own virtual Su-27's Aerobatic Group in attempt to reflect our impression of a real world flight teams, of course we proud of our Su-27's "Russian Knights" (www.knights.ru) and MiG-29's "Swifts" (http://www.flanker.ru/swifts/swifts.htm), L-39's group "Russia" (http://airbase.uka.ru/peoples/rus/) and L-29's "Sky Knights" (http://www.flanker.ru/sky_knight/sky.htm). And we trying to raise level of our individual aerobatic handling skill in a various aircraft.
We just do love real aviation and real flying after all.
Shall you have any questions about russian flightsim community please do not hesitate to email us or post your words just here in Aviaforum.
Keep in tight with this place and you'll find many breaking news about Moscow Flanker's Championship!
See you!
Sincerely,
Oleg F.A.B. Chernikov
