NEW YORK, New York. April 6, 2003 -- IL-2 Center (www.il2center.com), the leader in producing high quality add-ons for the award- winning Il-2 Sturmovik flight simulation series, is proud to announce that development is underway on the first in a series of dynamic campaign add-ons for Il-2:Forgotten Battles. The Winter War will take place over the Finnish Gulf and cover the conflict between the Soviet Union and Finland in the winter of 1940. Players will be able to fly for the Soviet or Finnish air forces and take part in realistic combat with a multitude of aircraft that historically participated in the conflict, like Soviet I-153 Chaika bi-plane or the British Gloster Gladiator utilized by the Finns.
The Winter War will utilize an improved version of the IL-2:Forgotten Battle’s dynamic campaign engine, with many of the improvements requested by Forgotten Battles players. Some of the more noticeable additions will be greatly expanded and more varied mission briefings, better understanding of tactical and strategic goals, and consecutive missions linked with the same overall objective. Players will feel like their actions really matter, where the results of one mission will often define the goal and opposition in the next.
The Winter War will be released as a free download on Il-2 Center’s website at www.il2center.com this summer. It will be released simultaneously with a free add-on patch from 1C:Maddox Games that will introduce many of the relevant planes to Il-2 Forgotten Battles.
After the release of The Winter War Il-2 Center will produce additional dynamic campaign add-ons for Il-2:Forgotten Battles focusing on areas and conflicts of WWII not previously covered by the simulation.

Медокс сам говорил про месяц-два
Само название предполагало, да и карты имеются в наличии соответствующие. Токо набор техники никак на полноценную кампанию не тянет.
