Off Topic: ShZ-78 Flying Helment Question

    Hi all,
I have been fortunate to find, all the way down here in Australia a ShZ-78 winter flying helmet and a matching PO-1M goggle set (see image below).
My question to the Web Captain team regarding the larger four pin (male) headphone plug (not the throat mike plug)...I had read somewhere that this is of a unique design requiring only one hand to unplug. Is this true? What does the "female" plug look like? Thanks in advance, I am quite interested in this sort of thing.

Note to other readers: This is a great set to own, if you were thinking of buying a helmet from here: http://www.aerol39.com/shl.html I recommend it. I actually paid more here in Australia for the set and did not get the throat mike and skull cap (can I buy these separately? )

Yes, you can unplug it very easly by three fingers of one hand.

Nothing special, exact opposite of the "male"
But the poin is the plugs size, shape and material.

    Hi Nomad,
Yes, this is exactly where I read it and was quite interested at the time. As I have mentioned I'm very pleased to own one of these myself.
My dream days flying would involve one of these helmets (perhaps the summer ShL) and a Su26
On that note, if anybody reading has clear photos of a Su26 cockpit in original Russian configuration, please contact me.
