"RAWALPINDI, Oct 28 (APP): An Army Aviation helicopter made a forced landing near flour mills, Rahwali due to technical fault at 1220 hours on Monday. According to an ISPR spokesman here, pilots of the helicopter remained safe during the incident. Meanwhile, SP Civil Lines Shoaib Khurran told reporters that the chopper fell in the area of Cantt police station Gujranwala in the open area of a factory.


He said that no casualty was reported from the ground while the pilots received minor injuries.
He said Major Furqan and Major Imran received some injuries as they had jumped while using parachutes when the chopper caught fire.
Army jawans and police reached the spot for the rescue operation. The pilots were shifted to CMH Gujranwala."
