Russian medals and grades in Air Force

Hi Comrades,
And sorry for not speaking a single Russian word .
I'd like to ask you if you could describe me the different medals and grades used in Russian Air Force (I'll use that information to build a virtual squadron on Flanker2 with my mates at Check Six ). We already have some information on what was used during the soviet era, but maybe thas has changed since?

Hi Sparfell.
I suppose that russian VVS' (Voenno-Vozdyshnye Sily - Russian Air Force) ranks have not been changed since Soviet Union breakup.
You're right, today we have diversity between Soviet and Russian medals and decorations, you can find some useful infos here http://www.avo.ru/content.php?menu=140301&page_id=58 (I'm sorry for no single word in english there )...
Plus there is plenty of insignia and special signs, rank and distinction badges in the our VVS.
