Software Version: A15
System:
P4-2.53GHz - 512Mb PC-2700
Iwill P4HT 845PE
Win98SE
DirectX 9.0
Gainward GeForce4 Ti4200 (30.82)
IExplorer 6.0 SP1
Thrustmaster Cougar HOTAS 2.02
9. Advanced Handling:
The 'classic' F-15C confidence maneuver is 350 KCAS and Mil at 15K Feet then pitch to 80 degrees
nose high and neutralize the controls. The jet will stand on its tails until out of airspeed and then flop to a
nose low attitude. Sometimes, the jet will actually slide backwards before swapping ends.
The sim FM does a fair representation of this maneuver. The nose continues to rise after
neutralizing the controls until the attitude is about 80 degrees nose high but on our back. The sim then
hangs there until out of airspeed and then falls through to nose low. There is no tendency to spin which is
accurate.
I have not yet found a 'typical' F-15C maneuver that results in departure. This is excellent. With the
exception of lateral asymmetry, the F-15C has excellent departure resistance.
10. Roll Rates:
There is no specific data on F-15C roll rates that I recall. The one critical effect to be observed is
reduced roll rate as the airspeed falls below about 250 KCAS with G on the jet. It is my impression that
effect is there in a reasonable amount.
Надеюсь, вопрос о колоколе на F-15 закрыт.
