Your English is fine Serp. (My Russian is horrible, I only know Da, Nyet, and Dosvidanya) In my spare time I study Russian history, and when I stumbled upon Lilya's story, I was amazed and thrilled. Her life was very interesting, and it's amazing how much of a love story it was, as well as the story of a woman who let nothing get in her way. She had a very strong character. I look up to people like that. The same goes for Natalya Meklin, Katya Budanova, Raisa Yushina, and who could forget Marina Raskova? These women are exceptional people. As of late I have been trying to teach that to my country. (But who in the USA will listen to a 16 year old kid?) You may say you're grateful to me, and I definitely believe you, but the spirit your country has is unsurpassed by any I have ever known. I owe you more respect than you owe me.
