Flying Devil Dogs
Flying Devils Dogs is an historically based portrayal of USMC fighter operations from 7 December 1941 to 5 September 1942.
Missions encompass Pearl Harbor, Midway, Makin Atoll, and Guadalcanal. You will fly F2As and F4Fs in scrambles, intercepts, ground attack, and patrols, from aircraft carriers and ashore. While all missions are based on historical fact, certain episodes explore plausible alternatives. On occasion, missions favor accuracy at the expense of playability. For instance, if it took F4Fs half-an-hour to reach intercept altitude over Guadalcanal, plan on spending that long without time acceleration enabled.
