some FYI notes that should prove helpful:

1. flying to the ISD in your yacht is slower than a YT and you will not get the buff bonus, however the fighters flying escort cannot kill you so you can sit at the hanger as long as you want. (for us, the instance was full at the time and we sat there for probably 30-45 min and we'd get shot at but were never in any danger from the npc ships). on the other hand, that buff you get stays with you the entire time you are in the instance, and is not removed if you die... up to your own preference...

2. waiting to get into the instance took so long, we lost all our buffs but it was no big deal... teamwork > buffs

3. definitely the hardest part is phase 1, krix and the grenadiers... you may die a couple times at the start trying to kill him and get used to the instance, but you have 2 hours to complete the instance so clone and do it again (ie buffs aren't that important). you can clone as many times as you have to and when you complete each phase and if your whole group dies, you can clone and just return to the phase you were currently doing (ie say you are in phase 6 on the final boss, you all die... clone and return to the end, you don't have to complete each phase over and over)

we did option 1, half the group killed the grenadiers on the left, and half killed the grenadiers on the right until they were all dead. AVOID the proton grenades! always keep moving... once grenadiers are dead, and it's just krix left, AVOID his fire and don't stand still... you'll get insta db'd somehow if you do...

(we never tried stasis'ing krix at the start because the proton grenades from the grenadiers above are the real threat at the start, but another group tried it and it worked for them so that's your perogative if you want to or not)

4. we completed the first run with just 2 medics, save the "in combat pvp/pve rez" for medics only because most of the time, the medic will always be stuck in combat... if both medics go down, your group will all die, so you will just have to clone and redo the phase...

5. after you kill the boarders and engineers and the npc helping you fixes the elevator (phase 5), you will reach commander kirkum again (phase 6) and he will be all by himself in a hallway. make sure everyone is in the hallway before attacking him because if they aren't... a force wall will be thrown up and half the group will be stuck outside it, not able to do anything to help... (lol happened to us)

6. our group makeup the first run was 2 jedi, 2 medics, 1 officer, 1 bh, 1 spy, 1 commando... i'd say replace the spy with another medic or high dps prof and it'll be easy... it was challenging to us doing it for the first time ever and we used trial and error but we completed it in about 1h 15min...

2nd run, we had 3 medics, 1 jedi, 2 commandos, and a bh and it was alot tougher... i think the loss in dps definitely made a difference... we got killed in the 2nd phase and then it bugged out on us... got stuck in the cloner and had to quit the instance...
