mikhayl, where is the pivot point of the db_hull of the models?
The main idea is that virtual center of gravity of the whole model is 0,0,0 point and the pivot point of the main part in the hierarchy should be placed there.

Основная идея в том, что вся модель своим центром тяжести должна быть в нулевых координатах, там же должна быть точка привязки(pivot point) главной части по иерархии - обычно это корпус - db_hull.

Hi Egorogr, on both models the pivot point of db_hull is at the center of the mesh, and then the object positionned on 0,0,0. The panther was very slightly off, I corrected it and it seems that the F9 camera is a bit better. You can rotate around the tank without zooming out.

Well... It is not fully correct actually, because geometric center(which is center of the mesh) is not a center of gravity in the real life usually... But that will do, I guess, since we don't know the true position of center of gravity.

Следуя моим советам, Mikhayl поправил Пантеру - теперь камера работает лучше - ссылка в его посте выше.
Он, так же говорит, что в качестве центра масс использовал геометрический центр модели.
Это не совсем корректно, так как в жизни эти центры могут не совпадать. Но поскольку мы не знаем, где у этих танков был центр масс, то можно пойти и по этому пути. А можно и подумать, где бы центр масс мог быть.
