On October 14th three infantry divisions and two panzer divisions attacked Stalingrad along a five kilometer front. The Luftwaffe conducted countless sorties and our mortars and howitzers fired throughout the day and night. The dust from this barrage reduced visibility to less than (100m). The main blow of the Sixth Army offensive was against the Tractor Plant and the Barricades Plant. Our forces lost (40) panzers and (3,000) men in the first day alone but managed to advance two kilometers and cut the remaining Soviet forces in half.
General Chuikov ordered yet another regiment acoss the Volga between the 15th-16th and tasked them with defending the Red October Factory. At this critical moment the Red Army artillery, the gunboats on the Volga, and the Sturmoviks of the Red Air Force attacked and blunted our efforts with a murderous diligence.
High command is requesting we concentrate on the enemy artillery and a rotte consisting of you and Feldwebel Matzdorf will conduct a jabo attack directly south of the Red October Factory.
Following this the rotte will wait for the (2) flights from KG 1 "Hindenburg" to eliminate air defenses on the eastern banks of the river and the 1./StG 2 "Immelmann" attack led by Hauptmann Rudel on the ferry attempting to supply the 62nd Soviet Army.
Should you feel obligated to conduct a freie Jagd the Red Air Force has been patrolling the eastern side of the Volga in force. Expect to encounter the 148 IAP, 629 IAP, and the 296 IAP. Fuel will be at maximum capacity and ordnance will consist of (1x500kg) SC bombs.

14-го октября три пехотных и две танковых дивизии атаковали Сталинград на пятикилометровом фронте. Количество вылетов люфтваффе невозможно сосчитать, а наши миномёты и гаубицы ведут огонь днём и ночью. Поднявшаяся пыль сократила видимость до 100 м и менее. Главный удар 6-й армии направлен в сторону завода "Баррикады". Наши войска только за первый день потеряли 40 танков и 3000 человек, продвинувшись на два километра и разрезав пополам остатки советских войск.
Генерал Чуйков поставил ещё один полк между 15-м и 16-м с приказом оборонять завод "Красный Октябрь". В этот критический момент артиллерия, бронекатера и штурмовики красных своими действиями сводят на нет все наши усилия.
Верховное командование требует от нас сконцентрироваться на артиллерии противника. Вы и фельдфебель Матцдорф летите на штурмовку в район южнее завода "Красный Октябрь".
После этого Вам предстоит дождаться прилёта 2 групп из KG 1 "Гинденбург", которые должны уничтожить зенитные батареи на восточном берегу реки и группы "Штук" под командованием гауптмана Руделя, имеющих приказ утопить паром, который используется для снабжения советской 62-й армии.
Если сочтёте нужным заняться свободной охотой, знайте, что красные ВВС активно действуют к востоку от Волги. Вы можете столкнуться со 148-м, 629-м и 296-м ИАП.
На самолёты уже подвешены 500-кг бомбы, заправка топливом - 100%.
