The story - it passed already through some people, and the internet, where there are many false legends. For example, the limit should be 25 or 50 knots, not km/h - so there may be other errors or exaggeration. But it was specific that the pilot had to manually adjust the Doppler filter sensitivity, to accomplish this accident. (It was not the intention to hit a car, he thought it was a helicopter.)

I often think how to model such MFD buttons in keyboard-controlled simulators, especially for modelling future Western aircraft. I think the most analagous buttons on the keyboard are F1-F12 keys. (If there are multiple MFDs, can be used with Shift, Ctrl, etc.) In Russian fighters could also be used F1-F8 keys for combat modes. This opens the question - what to do with external view controls? Since the real pilot has no such controls and they should not be used in the critical moments of combat, I think it's acceptable to move the camera view controls to crazy key combinations like "Alt-Win-1". But, it's just my "hardcore" opinion - I think Mr. Blazhnov who does so much good work for camera views would disagree.

Я считаю, что переносить виды камер с клавиш F1 - F12 неправильно. В симуляторном мире уже сложились определенные стандарты. Например, во всех симуляторах клавиша G это шасси. Также, стандартом стало размещение клавиш видов на F1 - F12. Из этого стандарта выбивается только Falcon 4
