2 SkyFan.
Intros.
Campaign.ini![]()

A short campaign for the Finnish Ju 88A-4. You will fly as flight leader of 1st flight begining with delivery of the aircraft to Finland and progressing through a series of missions that take you to September 1943.

- И-16: The Beginning of the End -
A 9 mission campaign for the I-16 type 18. Based on the campaign "I-16: Four Days in the Fall" by Luthier, released for IL2 Sturmovik in 2001.
In 2001/2, Luthier came out with a campaign of his own entitled: I-16 - Four Days in the Fall. The short, 11-mission campaign was designed to re-create the harsh conditions Soviet pilots faced in the opening month of The Great Patriotic War, finally ending in the player's death. It was a campaign "not meant to be won." Building on this premise, I have attempted a modernization of the campaign following a storyline where an already deceased narrator tells the player how he died, mission by mission.

Authors notes:
Select the rank of Wing Commander when commencing this campaign.
You will fly the Hurricane Mk1. and Tempest Mk.V. (also substituting for the Typhoon Mk.1B)
I recommend you study the above aircraft’s performance capabilities before starting this
campaign – particularly the use of ‘propeller pitch and radiator controls’.
I hope this campaign will ‘wet our appetites’ for Oleg’s soon to be released ‘Battle of Britain – Storm of
War’ flight simulation.
*Maps used to simulate the campaign
a. Gulf of Finland/Summer – England, the Channel, the Belgium/Holland Low Countries and France.
b. Kurland /Summer - The Northern European regions of Holland, Denmark and Germany
c. Kurland/Winter - The Northern European regions of Holland, Denmark and Germany
d. Ardennes/Winter – The German/French/Dutch border regions
e. Normandy maps 1, 2, 3 – France before, during and after D-Day
f. Northern Europe – The German/Dutch border region along the river Rhein
g. Net2 Winter - The German/Dutch border region along the river Rhein
* see PDF files attached showing maps of 87 Squadron’s movements during the ‘Battle of France’ and how the Gulf of Finland/Summer map has substituted for England, the Channel, the Belgium/Holland Low Countries and France. (apologies for my ‘hand-drawings’)
The campaign runs better on high RAM (i.e. 2-4GB RAM)
Installation

"RAF Pilot: France" is a fun, action filled campaign for the Hurricane MkI (I didn't say it was easy!) in the skies of France from the Phoney War through to Dunkirk.
Briefings that recreate the period and squadron banter; fun, varied missions; top skins
"RAF Pilot: France" is a semi-historical fun, action filled campaign placing the pilot in the seat of a Hurricane MkI (I didn't say it was easy!) fighting alongside the l'Armee de l'Air against the mighty Luftwaffe in the skies of France from the Phoney War through to Dunkirk.
You are Sqn. Ldr. Patrick 'Pat' Wilson, a New Zealander serving in the RAF. You have been appointed to lead your old squadron following the accidental death of your predecessor. Morale is low so it's your job to rebuild it and train the men into a top fighting unit before the seemingly invincible Wehrmacht crosses the border.
***SKIN NOTE***
Player should select:
Hurricane MkI 73 Sqn A BOF Rudder Stripes Black Wing
and later when briefing prompts you:
Hurricane MkI 73 Sqn A BOF Rudder Stripes

This campaign includes:
-38 missions that try to recreate the feel of the Phoney War, the Battle of France and the dark times of Dunkirk.
-A printable map of the in-game area with appropriate place names.
-A glossary of the New Zealand and British period slang used in the briefings.
